I have been living my dream of being an actress for over 25 years now. A couple of years ago I became a motivational speaker, as a way to “give back” and encourage others to go after their own dreams. Everything was going great until the economy started to tumble in this recession. The entertainment industry took a hit just like everywhere else. I decided I needed to find another income stream to supplement things until it got back on track. Luckily, that’s when I was approached about being a faculty member and a marketer at iLearningGlobal.

I was very skeptical at first. I’d never been in a network marketing company before and always thought it was something I would never do. I thought it was about storing a heap of stuff in my garage and then hard selling my family and friends on items they didn’t need. But the more I checked into the company and met the people involved, all the way from the bottom to the very top, I was convinced that this was a different animal. I have never been involved with such ethical and good people. These are the kind of people I want my name involved with, and who I want to be associated with. They make me a better person.

The tools that iLearningGlobal provides have helped me create a marketing business not only with iLearingGlobal, but I have also learned the entrepreneurial lessons to take my other businesses to a whole new level as well, and very quickly. I have learned so much from watching Signature Videos with the incredible faculty. Each day I would log on and get my “food” so that I could tackle the next task involved with making my new businesses grow. Everything from creating a business plan, to writing goals, to just finding good inspiration. That was so important to me while I was hearing all the “sky is falling” news every day. I learned to turn off the TV and log into iLearningGlobal. It plugged me into the “possibilities” and showed me how to accomplish everything one step at a time. I also turned my friends and family onto it too. We went from being down in the dumps about the economy, to sharing tips and inspiration we’d seen on videos that day. It became a very exciting game for us! And by changing our attitude, we stayed steady during the roughest times and are now flourishing.

Networking marketing is no longer a mystery to me, and I highly recommend it…but only if you have a dynamite product and a fabulous team to work with. That’s what I found with iLearningGlobal. My sponsor, Donna Fuller, walked me through every step of the way, teaching me how to market this as a business. She and Laura Piester have made it a replicable system for me, and they are available to be on three way calls every time I have a prospect I want to share this with. I don’t feel like I am all alone out there trying to market. Instead, we are a team and I know that we will continue to grow together in the future.

From the faculty aspect, I am proud to be associated with iLearningGlobal. I have had a chance to speak at one of the events, and through that got several speaking requests. It is also a way to expand my business and reputation globally. I really feel that this is the “elite” team, and I feel blessed to be associated with it.

The bottom line is that I feel this is just the beginning. We are at the right place and time with iLearningGlobal. It is expanding rapidly across the globe, and those of us who were lucky enough to find it in the early stages are only going to say someday that “we were there!” I know I am very grateful to be part of this exciting business and worldwide team.

Why did you decide to become a faculty member of iLearningGlobal?

It’s the opportunity to have global exposure, make a difference all over the world and not have to get on an airplane. I have six million miles on planes. I’m tired.

How has personal and professional development played a role in your life?

Personal and professional development has been a central part of my life. People don’t succeed by accident. They plan, and work their plan. It is a learned skill.

What key factors have led to your success?

The passion for making a difference in people’s lives. It gets me up in the morning and drives me all day.

Do you have any hobbies you’d like to tell us about?

I ride horses and play golf.

What words of advice could you give to our marketers as an entrepreneur?

Selling is like shaving, if you don’t do it every day, you’re a bum!

What obstacles have you overcome in your life?

Five major financial disasters, a bout with cancer, and picking up after making a lot of stupid decisions.
